Raising awareness through initiatives in Saint Louis is a key strategic focus of our mission to end child begging and slavery in the region. Maison de la Gare is actively committed to educating and mobilizing the community on these urgent issues by orchestrating effective and impactful awareness campaigns.

We collaborate closely with a diverse network of local NGOs, marabouts, and international actors to address these issues in a collective and coordinated manner. This partnership is essential to amplify our message and maximize our impact. Together, we work to raise public awareness of the serious situation facing talibés, highlighting the often-hidden realities of child begging and exploitation.

Our awareness-raising initiatives include educational workshops, public lectures, distribution of informational materials, and community activities. These efforts aim not only to raise awareness but also to promote concrete actions to improve the living conditions of talibés. We also emphasize the importance of state intervention, advocating for effective government policies and actions to protect children's rights and prevent abuse.
