Manon Péntek (France)
Hygiene and Health Care

For a month, we had the pleasure of hosting Manon Péntek as a volunteer at Maison de la Gare. Guided by a genuine spirit of solidarity and deep kindness, she fully committed herself to working alongside our team to support the talibé children.
Assigned to the infirmary program, Manon provided invaluable support in caring for and accompanying the children, both at the center and during field interventions. Through her attentive listening, gentle manner, and professionalism, she contributed to the children's well-being and to improving the quality of their care.
Beyond her work in the infirmary, Manon also became involved in several educational activities and in the daily life of the center. She led English classes with the children, creating fun, dynamic, and enriching learning experiences. Thanks to her enthusiasm and her thoughtful teaching approach, the children thoroughly enjoyed discovering and practicing the language.
Always ready to lend a hand, Manon also helped prepare the children's afternoon snack, an essential moment of sharing and joy. She further contributed to development of our new agricultural area, supporting an important project for Maison de la Gare's activities.
Before her departure, Manon wanted to offer one last moment of happiness to the whole Maison de la Gare family by organizing a wonderful celebration bringing together children and staff. This day, filled with joy, sharing, and togetherness, remains a cherished memory for all of us.
Manon's time at Maison de la Gare will be remembered for her generosity, her dynamism, and her sincere desire to contribute to the well‑being of the children.
Thank you, Manon, for your commitment, your kindness, and all the positive energy you brought to our mission. We wish you much success in the future and hope to have the pleasure of seeing you again someday at Maison de la Gare.
