Maÿliss Odadan (France)
Hygiene and Health Care

Maÿliss Odadan participated as a volunteer in Maison de la Gare's medical and educational activities. During her three weeks of commitment with us, she invested herself fully, gently and generously with the talibé children.
Every morning, Maÿliss was present in the infirmary from the early hours. Alongside the medical team, she provided care to injured or sick children, ensuring they received a reassuring welcome and a caring ear. Her constant presence, calmness, and attentiveness helped create a calming environment where the children felt safe.
In addition to this essential role, Maÿliss participated in the literacy program. With patience and encouragement, she supported the children in their learning to read, write, and calculate, adapting to each child's level and abilities. Her attentive and supportive teaching style strengthened the children's confidence and stimulated their motivation to learn.
In the afternoons, Maÿliss participated in recreational activities, sharing moments of play, relaxation, and laughter with the children. These moments contributed to their development and the development of warm bonds within the center.
Over the days, Maÿliss was able to build sincere relationships with the children and the members of the team, impressing each one with her discretion, her generosity and her constant involvement.
We sincerely thank Maÿliss for her remarkable commitment. Her time at Maison de la Gare was a valuable source of support for the children and a significant human experience for all those who worked alongside her.
